Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs.
• Design and work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Debug and troubleshoot backend and production issues.
• Work with Python for automation, backend development, and AI-related applications.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and other AI coding/agent tools effectively for development, debugging, research, and automation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate where they can provide practical business value.

Required SkillsBackend Development

• Strong understanding of backend development concepts.
• Experience with Node.js/Express.js, Python, Django/FastAPI, or similar backend technologies.
• REST API development and integration.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization.
• Understanding of HTTP, JSON, webhooks, and API security.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling.

Database

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Basic understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of database design, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.

Python & AI Tools

• Good working knowledge of Python.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
• Ability to use AI for:
• Coding
• Debugging
• Documentation
• Research
• Automation
• Rapid prototyping
• Understanding of LLMs and AI APIs.
• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering.
