AWS Devops Lead Engineer (Kochi)

Position: AWS DevOps Lead Engineer

Location: Kochi

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to drive our DevOps transformation across AWS and multi-cloud environments. Youll lead CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and cloud-native engineering initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide DevOps strategy and CI/CD standards.
• Architect end-to-end pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Build IaC frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Lead Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) design, deployment, and security.
• Drive automation for provisioning, monitoring, and incident management.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices including SAST/DAST, compliance-as-code, and secrets management.
• Mentor teams, promote best practices, and ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, with 4+ years in AWS-focused roles.
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud security.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Mandatory)

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Skilled
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• CKA or CKAD (Kubernetes certification)

Preferred

• Additional AWS or Kubernetes certifications (CKS, Architect Pro).
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/FluxCD), FinOps, and serverless automation. .
