The Role

As Audit & Tax Manager, you'll own a diverse client portfolio end-to-end — planning and leading engagements, mentoring a junior team, and being the person clients and partners rely on to get it right.

What you'll actually do

· Plan and lead statutory and tax audits from kickoff to sign-off

· Review financial statements for accuracy, disclosure, and compliance

· Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting, and advisory

· Supervise and review the work of article assistants and junior staff

· Handle client conversations directly — clarifying requirements, resolving queries, and offering tax planning insights

· Prepare reports and documentation for management and regulatory authorities

· Track deadlines, tighten internal processes, and drive training and knowledge-sharing across the team

What We're Looking For

We care about capability over credentials — a strong non-CA with the right experience is as welcome as a qualified CA.

· 5–10 years of hands-on audit and taxation experience in a CA firm (non-negotiable — firm environment matters here)

· Freshly Qualified CA may also apply , but deep, demonstrable experience carries more weight

· Solid command of Indian tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks

· Real expertise across tax audits, indirect taxation, tax planning, and financial statement review

· Ability to lead a team and juggle multiple engagements under tight deadlines without dropping quality

· Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, and clear written and verbal communication

· Comfortable in a client-facing role — able to build relationships that last

Compensation

₹5 - 9 LPA, based on experience and qualification.
