Audit Manager – Qualified Chartered Accountant (1–2 Years PQE)

Our practice covers statutory audit, tax advisory, GST and TDS compliance, business valuation, insolvency and IBC matters, and corporate secretarial work. The Role

We’re looking for a qualified CA to lead audit engagements from planning to reporting. You’ll manage a small team of article assistants and audit staff, work directly with clients, and report to the Partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits for companies, firms and other entities
• Lead and review the work of article assistants and audit executives
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with Ind AS / Accounting Standards and Schedule III
• Draft audit reports, CARO 2020 reports and Form 3CA/3CB/3CD
• Ensure audit documentation complies with ICAI Standards on Auditing
• Coordinate with client management on audit observations, timelines and closures
• Support the firm’s GST, TDS and direct tax compliance work when required

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant and member of ICAI
• 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in audit (article ship not counted), Bank Audit & CAG/PSU Audit experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Standards on Auditing, Ind AS / AS, CARO 2020 and Companies Act, 2013
• Working knowledge of Income Tax and GST
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, AI tools and audit software
• Good communication skills in English and Malayalam and work along with Teams
• Willingness to Travel

Preferred

• Experience handling audit teams or clients independently
• Exposure to bank audits, concurrent audits or internal audits
• Ability to communicate in Malayalam
• Based in Kochi or willing to relocate
