Role Description The Assistant Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The person in this role will support the video production team by organizing raw footage, assisting with video editing, and preparing project timelines and assets. Daily responsibilities include assembling rough cuts, adding basic transitions and effects, syncing audio, and helping with color adjustments under the guidance of senior editors. The role also involves preparing graphics or simple motion elements as needed, maintaining file and project organization, and ensuring deliverables meet quality and brand standards. Collaboration with videographers, editors, and designers is essential to meet deadlines and produce polished content.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including basic understanding of shooting workflows and handling raw footage.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, using industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading, including basic color correction and exposure adjustments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating simple visual elements and titles in software like After Effects or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative direction, and openness to feedback.
• Good time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior internship or project experience in video editing or post-production is an advantage.
