Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Engineering to lead our manufacturing engineering activities in the Coil Shop, Press Shop, and associated manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for process development, equipment development, automation, tooling, productivity improvement, CAPEX management, and new product industrialization. The primary objective of this role is to establish safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes while enhancing product quality, equipment performance, and overall manufacturing productivity.

Key Responsibilities include

• **Process Engineering**: Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to achieve quality, safety, productivity, and process stability. Define process parameters, standard work procedures, and process validation requirements. Improve OEE, cycle time, yield, equipment reliability, and manufacturing costs.
• **Coil Shop Engineering**: Optimize evaporator and condenser coil manufacturing processes, handling tube cutting, hairpin/U-bend, fin forming, tube insertion, expansion, assembly, brazing, and leak testing. Analyze and resolve defects related to dimensions and assembly.
• **Press Shop Engineering**: Develop and optimize sheet-metal manufacturing processes, including blanking, stamping, and bending. Support press machine selection and tooling trials.
• **Automation and Productivity Improvement**: Identify and implement automation opportunities across manufacturing operations to enhance productivity and equipment performance.
• **CAPEX and Equipment Engineering**: Lead CAPEX projects involving new machinery and process improvements, ensuring projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines.

Required skills include a strong knowledge of manufacturing and process engineering, hands-on understanding of Coil Shop and Press Shop operations, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Project management and supplier coordination capabilities are also essential for success in this role.
