Job Description
5-10 years of professional experience as a Data Modeller
Conceptual model to aid understanding and input to Universal Data Model (UDM) Logical model to prepare development teams for delivering Physical underlying structures
Experience in ER modelling (Entity Relationship) and dimensional modelling (star schema, snowflake schema) using tools like Erwin
Translation of business requirements into solution designs and functional requirements.
Experience in eliciting, documenting, and verifying requirements for the use of data across the organization
Previous experience in data analysis, or architecture including delivery of data artefacts in big data projects on prem or cloud. Eg. data models, data flow diagrams and metadata would be beneficial.
Experience in banking and specifically within data domains
Job Responsibilities
Proven strength in conceptual and logical thinking, ability to abstract information, and look at the bigger picture.
Proven analysis skills with the ability to challenge designs/decisions and exposure to agile methodologies.
Experience in working within large, complex, and geographically dispersed projects (including across time zones)
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
A strong ability to communicate virtually
Strong leadership and an ability to articulate, present and obtain approval for solutions at the right level for a wide audience (IT and Business)
Self-awareness and the confidence to work independently
Tools : Erwin or similar, JIRA, Confluence
