Role Description The Article Assistant will support the team in day-to-day accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance work, under the guidance of senior professionals and partners.

Responsibilities include maintaining accounts, assisting in preparation and filing of GST and income tax returns, supporting statutory and tax audits, and helping with documentation and working papers. The role also involves basic research on tax and regulatory matters, preparation of reports and summaries, and coordination with clients for data collection and clarifications. This is an internship role, designed to provide practical exposure to Chartered Accountancy work and professional standards.

The position is on-site and located in Pune Division.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statements.
• Candidates should possess understanding of taxation concepts, including Direct Tax and GST, and an interest in audit and compliance work.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), accounting software, and digital documentation tools.
• Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional and ethical work approach.
• Candidates should be pursuing or have completed relevant commerce or accounting studies (e.g., B.Com, CA articleship eligibility or equivalent).
• Candidates should be willing to learn, work in a structured environment, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
