The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and may include mentoring junior developers when required.

Experience in healthcare or medical applications and a good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate Android applications with backend services using RESTful APIs.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications.
• Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and technical planning.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Guide and support junior developers as needed.
• Maintain technical documentation and development workflows.
• Ensure proper deployment and compliance with Google Play Store guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in Android application development.
• Robust expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and design patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in code reviews and following development best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Healthcare or Medical domain applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, or FHIR.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
• Experience in mentoring or technical leadership roles.
