What you will do

• Manage schema changes so deployments and migrations never have to be simultaneous.
• Maintain runbooks that someone woken at 3am can actually follow.
• Improve developer experience so local setup takes minutes rather than days.
• Document architectural decisions so the reasoning survives team changes.
• Write and maintain automated tests that make refactoring safe rather than risky.
• Track and reduce the error budget consumed by each release.
• Lead incident response and turn each postmortem into a concrete follow-up change.
