Are you a strategic logistics leader with a passion for building world-class supply chain networks and driving operational excellence across global markets?

A leading manufacturing organization engaged in manufacture of large number of SKUs of technical textile products is looking for an experienced Lead – Logistics to lead and optimize end-to-end domestic and international logistics operations. Reporting to the Head – Global Supply Chain. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with business growth and global supply chain objectives.

✅ Lead end-to-end domestic and international logistics operations, including transportation, freight management (sea, air, and road), and international stock point fulfilment.

✅ Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless inbound and outbound logistics.

✅ Manage relationships with 3PL partners, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics service providers while negotiating contracts and driving service excellence.

✅ Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, import/export documentation, and statutory processes, including EPCG, EDPMS, and IDPMS.

✅ Drive logistics cost optimization, network efficiency, and continuous process improvements while maintaining high customer service standards.

✅ Lead digital transformation initiatives by leveraging ERP, TMS, WMS, analytics, and automation to improve logistics visibility and operational performance.

✅ Develop robust risk mitigation and business continuity plans for domestic and international supply chain operations.

Ideal Candidate

✔ 13–15 years of progressive experience in Logistics, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management.

✔ Proven experience managing high-volume domestic and international logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.

✔ Must have hands-on experience managing a significant daily volume of export container shipments from India to global markets, ensuring seamless coordination across shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and international distribution networks.

✔ Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume, multi-SKU export shipments across multiple countries, with expertise in shipment consolidation, container optimization, inventory synchronization, and on-time order fulfilment for diverse product portfolios.

✔ Strong understanding of global trade compliance, customs regulations, import/export processes, and transportation regulations.

✔ Hands-on experience with ERP, TMS, and WMS platforms, logistics analytics, and process automation.

✔ Demonstrated success in logistics cost optimization, vendor management, network design, and service-level improvements.

✔ Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

✔ BE/B.Tech with an MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
