We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Backend Developer to join our team for a full-time remote opportunity with a leading client in the Healthcare & Research domain.

Location: India (Remote)

Time Zone: US Eastern Time (Flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in AEM

Build and customize AEM components, workflows, services, and APIs

Integrate AEM with external systems and third-party applications

Develop reusable Java-based services using Sling Models, OSGi, and JCR

Work closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams

Optimize application performance, caching, and security configurations

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability

Required Skills

Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)

Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Servlets

Hands-on experience with AEM Workflows, MSM, Dispatcher, and CRXDE

Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services

Strong understanding of AEM Core Components and Editable Templates

Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines

Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments is a plus

Knowledge of caching, CDN strategies, and performance optimization

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education
