Accounting & Tax Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Compliance Manager to lead and manage client deliverables across Accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliances. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of accountants, ensure process accuracy, and manage deadlines for multiple clients across industries. This role demands strong technical knowledge, operational discipline, and client-handling ability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting Management

• Oversee daily accounting for multiple clients using Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks.
• Review books of accounts, ensure correct ledger classification, and monthly closing.
• Supervise reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, profit & loss, and balance sheets monthly/quarterly.
• Standardize accounting processes and ensure data integrity across client accounts.
• GST Compliances
• Ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9/9C.
• Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) between books and GST portal.
• Handle notices, queries, and assessments under GST law.
• Maintain internal trackers for GST filing status and error logs.
• TDS & Income Tax Compliances
• Oversee TDS deductions, payments, and filing of returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
• Manage quarterly TDS reconciliations and Form 16/16A generation.
• Support in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (Individuals, Firms, Companies).
• Handle tax audits, 26AS reconciliation, and advance tax computations.
• Client Coordination & Team Management
• Act as the single point of contact for clients on accounting and compliance matters.
• Assign and monitor work of junior accountants and interns.
• Conduct internal review meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Communicate deadlines, compliance updates, and review reports to clients.
• Process Improvement & Automation
• Implement standard checklists and internal controls for accounting and tax processes.
• Suggest automation using Zoho Books, Google Sheets, or Airtable for recurring tasks.
• Ensure data consistency between accounting software, GST, and IT portals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in managing accounting and statutory compliances for multiple clients.
• In-depth knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, and GST & Income Tax portals.
• Hands-on experience in filing GST, TDS, and IT returns independently.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Team leadership, time management, and communication skills.

Compensation

• ₹30,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on experience and client-handling ability).
• Additional incentives linked to timely delivery and client satisfaction.
