Job Summary

The Accountant will manage financial records, ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and support budgeting and reporting. This role reports to the Finance Director and plays a key role in maintaining fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and bank statements using tools like MS Excel/ Busy Software.
• Ensure timely GST filings, TDS deductions, and compliance with statutory audits.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly closings, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting (B. Com./ M. Com.) or CA Inter preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fintech or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Busy, and GST portals.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills; Hindi fluency is a plus.
