Job Description

• Lead the strategic evolution of CityFinance.in from a municipal finance data repository into a national City Fiscal Platform and Digital Public Infrastructure for public finance data.
• Own the long-term strategic roadmap for CityFinance and align platform priorities with organizational and program objectives.
• Drive institutionalization of the platform across state and central government ecosystems to support evidence-based policymaking and public finance reforms.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between Public Finance Management teams, technology teams, communications, and program functions to ensure timely delivery and operational excellence.
• Serve as the bridge between public finance experts and technology teams by translating fiscal and policy requirements into technical specifications and platform capabilities.
• Manage relationships with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, State Urban Development Departments, and other government stakeholders to support compliance and policy objectives.
• Ensure delivery excellence across data ingestion systems, analytics platforms, dashboards, and user-facing tools while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and accuracy.
• Drive adoption of CityFinance among governments, researchers, NGOs, journalists, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders by positioning it as the national reference platform for municipal finance data.
• Lead the development of accessible data narratives and insights that enable evidence-based decision making and urban fiscal reform.
• Provide leadership in systems change, stakeholder management, program execution, and organisational collaboration to support long-term impact in urban governance and public finance.
