3D Designer / Product Designer

Role Overview The 3D Designer transforms functional briefs, sketches, and customer specifications into production-ready 3D CAD models and high-end photorealistic visuals. This role is responsible for both aesthetic styling and ergonomic/functional feasibility, creating detailed CAD geometry for prototyping, catalog marketing, client presentations, and manufacturing handoffs.

Key Responsibilities

3D CAD Modeling: Develop surface and solid 3D models from 2D concepts, technical sketches, or physical reference samples with precise dimensional control.

Photorealistic Rendering: Set up lighting, studio environments, materials, and textures to create high-resolution renders and 360-degree animations for digital catalogs, marketing, and client presentations.

Prototyping & 3D Printing: Prepare and optimize STL/STEP files for rapid prototyping (SLA/FDM 3D printing), inspect prototype fit/finish, and adjust geometry accordingly.

Artwork & Customization Integration: Map brand graphics, screen prints, embossing/debossing, and labeling directly onto 3D container or product surfaces.

Design Documentation: Generate 2D technical specification sheets, orthographic views, cross-sections, and weight/capacity calculations for client approval and engineering sign-off.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the tooling/engineering and sales teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing constraints, volumetric targets, and customer requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or specialized 3D Animation/Design.

2–5 years of professional experience in 3D modeling and rendering (packaging, consumer goods, or hardware product experience preferred).

Proficiency in parametric and surface modeling software: SolidWorks, Rhino, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.

High proficiency in rendering and visualization engines: KeyShot, Blender, 3ds Max (V-Ray/Corona).

Solid grasp of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for label mapping and graphic integration.

A strong design portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling precision, surface quality, and realistic material rendering.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
