Job Description
As an Oracle developer, you will create, design, and develop applications based on Oracle database. You will also meet your client’s evolving business requirements and standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and usability.
Job Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities include:
- Developing applications based on Oracle databases
- Maintaining and managing existing Oracle databases
- Identifying and resolving process performance issues in the database
- Implementing security measures to protect the integrity of stored data
- Collaborating with other teams to resolve database-related issues
- Creating and maintaining procedures for database efficiency
- Documenting updates for future maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or any related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle development
- Experience with Oracle database development, manual and automated
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Experience working with Oracle management tools like RMAN, Data Guard and Data Pump
- Knowledge of programming languages including Java and JavaScript
- Experience with RICE, Forms, BI Publisher Reports, Workflow and UNIX Shell Scripting
