JavaScript: JavaScript is the base on which you will build your Angular developer career. Since Angular’s first version was created using JavaScript as its base, it’s good to have knowledge in JavaScript. Please note, that the new versions do not heavily rely on JavaScript as the first one did. However, knowledge of JavaScript will definitely give you an edge.

TypeScript: Learning TypeScript is highly recommended. Angular is written in TypeScript and it uses TypeScript syntax and concepts heavily. Thus, having a good knowledge of TypeScript helps.

Node Package Manager (NPM): The Node Package Manager is a primary tool for all developers. NLP is a primary tool used to install, discover, publish, and develop many client-side node programs. Having knowledge of NPM allows you to cater to the updates and changes as the application grows.

HTML and CSS: Having expertise in HTML and CSS is one of the most important and basic skills that every front-end developer should have. Angular takes pride in building fast and functional apps. However, in order to render apps on a browser, working with HTML and CSS is imperative. HTML and CSS are essential front-end developer skills. These skills will help a developer to give his client a tailor-made UI.

Angular CLI: Angular CLI is a command-line interface tool used to modify, develop, support, and maintain Angular applications right from a command shell. One of the main responsibilities of an Angular developer is to use best practices, templates, and Angular versions to build a client application. Angular CLI helps with that. It ensures your application is updated in no time. It is a great choice for faster app development that too in a cost-effective way.

Git: Git helps manage version controls so that developers working on complex projects don’t have to worry about losing the latest version of their code.

Testing and Debugging: This skill is not Angular-specific. Every developer must be savvy in testing and debugging. This can help in understanding and rectifying bugs and issues when it arrives.

RxJS: Reactive Extensions for JavaScript, or RxJS, is a reactive library that helps execute reactive programming in order to deal with async implementation, callbacks, and event-based programs.

Responsive Design: Creating an app or website that is responsive and easily accessible on all screen sizes is very important. Thus, an Angular developer should know how to design an interface that is compatible with all devices and browsers as well as renders properly on all screen sizes, offering a seamless browsing experience.
