KuantoKusta is one of the biggest online e-commerce websites in Portugal, offering a wide range of products such as electronics, smartphones, hardware, toys, childcare, and fashion. As a Software Engineer, my role includes the automation testing of the e-commerce website.

My Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and understanding user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identifying test scenarios that need to be automated
• Participating in distributed test automation execution on different environments as part of Continuous Integration process using Jenkins
• Performing Integration and Regression testing to check compatibility of new functionality with the existing functionality of the application using Selenium
• Participating in sprints to create test cases, perform test execution and work with product and sprint backlogs
• Preparing and executing test cases as per system requirements and user stories
• Preparing feature scenarios and automation scripts in Selenium with Cucumber
• Implementing different automation frameworks like POM, Data Driven
• Executing and debugging test scripts
• Performing defect tracking and management in JIRA
• Involved in logging defects in Jira, Defect Reporting and Defect Tracking
• Involved in all levels of Agile starting from test planning to retrospective meeting
• Enhancing Selenium test cases for Cross-browser testing
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective

Tyro Bank Account is a business bank account that is fee-free and earns interest. The system allows for Australian customers from client banks to apply for loans and check their eligibility. It also enables customers and bank staff to initiate loans and has a built-in EFTPOS tracking feature.

My Responsibilities: 

• Involved in Test Plan design, deriving test data and creating and reviewing test cases
• Executed test cases
• Tested applications and documented results and bugs including documentation of information useful in the debugging process
• Created Traceability matrix to keep track of changes in requirements to testing efforts
• Prepared test cases and execution steps
• Raised bugs in JIRA after test case execution
• Prepared Defect Report and assigned defects to developers to fix
• Retested cases where defects were raised and updated the status
• Sent Daily Report to Project Manager.
