Wordpress Developer Intern

Role Description The WordPress Developer Intern will support the development and maintenance of WordPress-based websites and web applications for Pravixa AI and its clients. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Kolkata Area involves implementing themes and plugins, customizing layouts, and ensuring responsive design across devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in front-end and back-end development tasks, optimizing site performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver user-friendly experiences.

The intern will also help with content updates, basic SEO implementation, and testing new features before deployment. This role offers hands-on experience in modern web development practices within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Web Development with exposure to both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.

Ability to create user-friendly interfaces using Web Design and Responsive Web Design principles.

Hands-on experience or coursework related to WordPress theme and plugin customization.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP or similar server-side languages.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and basic SEO concepts.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in the Greater Kolkata Area. .
