Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify with a strong background in frontend development and eCommerce website creation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites using modern technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites using page builders like Elementor, WPBakery.

Convert Figma designs and PSD files into fully functional, responsive WordPress and Shopify themes.

Implement WooCommerce for eCommerce stores and configure product pages, carts, and checkout flows.

Ensure all websites are SEO-optimized, mobile-responsive, and meet performance standards (Core Web Vitals).

Integrate and manage third-party APIs, shipping, and payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and security audits.

Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement pixel-perfect websites.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.

Implement on-page SEO best practices, schema markup, and optimize URLs, meta tags, and headings.

Required Skills

2+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer and Shopify Developer.

Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques.

Deep understanding of WordPress core, custom theme development, and plugin customization.

Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid templating language.

Familiarity with WooCommerce, product configuration, and checkout customization.

Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Photoshop (basic editing), and converting designs to code.

Understanding of technical SEO, page speed optimization, and structured data.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of web security best practices, backups, and maintenance routines.
