Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Lead and manage complete day-to-day warehouse operations including GRN, storage, picking, packing, labelling, dispatch, and returns processing.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for all warehouse processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
• Ensure brand-compliant packing, labelling, and presentation standards for all B2B shipments.

Inventory Management & Control

• Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical audits, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and control inventory ageing, damages, shrinkage, and discrepancies; drive corrective actions.
• Oversee returns, RTV, quality checks, and refurbishment workflows to minimize losses and maximize recovery.
• Coordinate closely with merchandising, procurement, and supply chain teams for stock planning, replenishment, and inter-location transfers.

Team & Manpower Management

• Lead, train, motivate, and manage warehouse supervisors, associates, pickers, packers, and loaders (including vendor-managed teams).
• Plan and allocate manpower based on daily/weekly volume forecasts and seasonal peaks; monitor productivity and drive accountability.
• Ensure adherence to shift rosters, attendance, and workforce discipline across locations.

Dispatch, Logistics & Fulfilment Coordination

• Oversee dispatch planning, shipment allocation, documentation accuracy (invoices, packing lists, manifests), and on-time execution.
• Coordinate with 3PL partners, transporters, and last-mile providers to meet SLAs and optimize logistics cost and TAT.
• Collaborate with factory for operations, planning, production and QC teams to resolve urgent orders, B2B TAT breaches, and escalations.
• Track and improve key metrics: dispatch accuracy, on-time dispatch %, order cycle time, cost per shipment, and returns processing efficiency.

Process Improvement, Compliance & Reporting

• Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including WMS utilization, scanning/automation opportunities, and cost optimization.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, fire safety, labor compliance, and audit requirements.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on KPIs (inventory accuracy, productivity, losses, dispatch performance, manpower utilization, etc.).
• Maintain proper documentation for internal audits, GRNs, stock transfers, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations and inventory management, with at least 5+ years in a team leadership or Incharge capacity.
• Prior experience in apparel, fashion, kids’ wear, or e-commerce is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Unicommerce WMS Software and Logic ERP / other ERP platforms; advanced proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.

Required Skills

• Excellent analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable with KPIs, MIS, and root-cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety, compliance, and audit processes.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities (internal teams + external Factor/3PL/vendors).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment with seasonal demand fluctuations.
• Good communication skills in English & Tamil (Mandatory); Hindi is an added advantage.
