Role Purpose

We are looking for a .Net developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, planning and development of solutions based on industry requirements
• Participate as part of a project team to design, code, test and implement moderately complex programs to support the portfolio management process
• Lead small to mid-level sized programs or portions of a program
• Monitor and report to management on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend, and implement corrective measures
• Maintenance of existing systems

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Applicant should be highly proficient in C# and .NET, focusing on ASP.NET development focusing on web development.
• Applicant must have Oracle and SQL experience and be used to dealing with large datasets and/or real time information
• Some exposure to REDIS, JavaScript, REACT, Kafka
• Applicant will ideally be versed in Agile technologies

Desired Skills

• Demonstrable experience of a key role in building web applications
• Highly proficient in C# and .NET, focusing on ASP.NET, also be open for new suggestions.
• Thorough knowledge of one or more technologies (e.g..Net, C#, User Interface, XML, database technologies)
• Experience of JavaScript, HTML5, React or responsive web would all be beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation.
