Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications while leading high-performing engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Java-based technologies with proven people leadership, stakeholder management, and experience delivering cloud-native, microservices-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, driving technical excellence and high-quality software delivery.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, timelines, risks, and successful execution.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using modern Java technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, testing frameworks, and CI/CD processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, development methodologies, and team productivity.
• Support talent development through coaching, performance management, and technical mentoring.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of software engineering experience with proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (8+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and Concurrency.
• Experience with Kafka, Camunda/JBPM, React, and Micro Frontend Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA, Spring Batch, Spring JDBC, Liquibase, and distributed caching solutions.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, memory management, profiling, and application performance tuning.
• Expertise in unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Testing Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket/GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
