Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Video Content Marketing & Creative Editor / Producer. The role involves planning, scripting, and producing video content that aligns with brand positioning, digital campaigns, and performance goals across channels such as websites, social media, and paid media funnels.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating pre-production, creating storyboards, generating/sourcing assets, and handling post-production editing, sound, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.

We will focus primarily on social content. However, we expect and will work towards tv production, commercial grade output for brand assets moving forward - experience here is a plus The person in this role will collaborate closely with strategy, design, and marketing teams to translate data-led insights into compelling video narratives, optimize content for different platforms and formats, and maintain brand consistency. Additional tasks include managing content calendars, repurposing long-form content into shorter assets, and testing creative variations to improve engagement, visibility, and conversion.

It is very important that you understand social media marketing, and marketing concepts as a whole. You will be leading our digital video content marketing output for the agency itself. Proof of past experience is essential.

Qualifications

• A portfolio of completed reels/tiktok short form content.
• Examples of longer form content for platforms like youtube.
• Strong storytelling and Writing skills to craft scripts, narratives, and on-screen messaging that support brand and campaign objectives.
• Advanced Editing and Video Editing skills , covering cutting, sequencing, sound design, color adjustment, and platform-specific optimization.
• Creative sense for visual storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement in short-form and long-form video content.
• Solid skillset with common video editing and production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Capcut - for templated work,or equivalent).
• Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals

, including how video supports funnels, CRO, SEO/AEO, and content systems.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment and manage deadlines across multiple projects.
• Prior experience in agency, startup, or performance-focused digital environments is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, marketing, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
