About the role

Join USI Talent Acquisition as an Automation Testing Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, focusing on automated test scripting and quality assurance in complex application environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, QTP, and scripting languages to validate functionality across system applications.
• Analyze business requirements and design specifications to create effective test cases and identify product defects.
• Execute web service testing with tools like SOAP UI and ensure comprehensive test coverage at various complexity levels.
• Maintain and update test management tools such as VSTS, RTC, and RQM to reflect task status and test case documentation.
• Support test data creation to simulate real-world scenarios and perform maintenance and support duties as needed.

Required skills and experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing with proficiency in Java and scripting languages including VB Script and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to independently interpret application architecture, functional specifications, and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
• Experience with test management tools and adhering to test process management frameworks and RUP standards.
• Skilled in defect reporting and ensuring compliance with business and functional requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of multiple application layers, databases, and integration with other products and systems.
• Experience with content testing and administration in a quality assurance environment.
