Role Description The UI/UX Intern role at Onyx Edutech is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The intern will assist in designing intuitive user interfaces and crafting engaging user experiences for web and mobile learning products. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with product and development teams, and refining designs based on feedback. The intern will help maintain design consistency across platforms, document design decisions, and contribute creative ideas to improve usability and learner engagement. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end design process within a fast-paced edtech environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational UI design skills, including wireframing, visual design, and basic prototyping using common design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Candidates should possess core UX skills such as user research assistance, persona development, user journey mapping, and usability testing support.
• Candidates should possess interaction and information design skills, including layout design, navigation structuring, and creating intuitive user flows.
• Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a strong interest in edtech and learner-centered design.
• Relevant coursework or training in UI/UX, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing design work or projects is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad on a full-time basis and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
