Role Description The UI/UX Designer will work on-site in Kochi in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design intuitive user interfaces for Shopify apps and related tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business requirements into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, and refining these based on user feedback and usability testing.

The role involves creating consistent visual design systems, optimizing user flows, and improving overall user experience across web and app products. The designer will also partner with front-end developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, standards, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design, and interaction design.
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, color, layout, and consistency.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant degree or certification in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing for Shopify, SaaS, or e-commerce products is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects is required.
