About the Role

HomieBytes is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and fresh graduates who are passionate about designing intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. You will work closely with developers and other team members to transform ideas into engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct basic user research and translate findings into design improvements.
• Ensure consistency by following design systems and style guides.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Improve existing interfaces based on feedback and usability principles.
• Create icons, illustrations, banners, and other visual assets when required.
• Participate in design discussions, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
• Maintain organized design files and documentation.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Canva.
• Understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and layout.
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design concepts.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve.

Preferred Qualifications

• Students or recent graduates in Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects, academic work, or personal designs.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is an added advantage but not mandatory.
