TypeScript Developer (AI-Focused, Backend Experience)

We are looking for a skilled TypeScript Developer with a strong backend development background and a passion for AI-driven systems. You will play a critical role in building scalable backend services, integrating AI/ML APIs, and staying ahead of the curve with cutting-edge technologies in the TypeScript ecosystem.

• Develop backend services using TypeScript with frameworks like NestJS, Hono, or Express.
• Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices.
• Integrate AI tools and services (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Vector Databases, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to build robust and intelligent features.
• Maintain high code quality using unit testing, type safety, and best practices.
• Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Planetscale.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, libraries, and frameworks in the TypeScript and AI landscape.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid experience with backend frameworks like NestJS, Hono, or Express.
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Replicate, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with serverless functions, Edge runtimes, or Cloudflare Workers is a plus.
• Good understanding of database design, ORMs (Prisma/TypeORM), and performance optimization.
• Experience with unit testing, Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, etc.).
• Awareness of modern TypeScript ecosystem tools like Bun, Turborepo, Zod, etc.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with AI agents, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), or LangChain.js.
• Knowledge of Vector DBs like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
• Experience with real-time systems using WebSockets or Socket.io.
• Knowledge of DevOps or cloud infrastructure as code.
