Program: B.Sc. Data Science (Undergraduate Students)

Course Duration: 30 Hours (Across One Semester)

About the Role

The School of Data Science & Business Intelligence (SDBI) is looking for an experienced Visiting Faculty to teach AI and Emerging Trends to undergraduate students at its Mumbai campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 30 hours of engaging classroom sessions across the semester.
• Introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrate practical AI applications using real-world examples and industry case studies.
• Facilitate discussions on technological innovation, ethics, and future career opportunities.
• Design assignments, presentations, and classroom activities that encourage critical thinking.
• Mentor students on AI trends, industry developments, and technology adoption.
• Conduct internal assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure timely completion of the syllabus.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in AI, data science, digital transformation, emerging technologies, or technology consulting.
• Strong understanding of current AI technologies and emerging technology trends.
• Prior teaching, corporate training, mentoring, or workshop facilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for undergraduate students.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Generative AI platforms and AI productivity tools.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and AI applications.
• Awareness of current technology trends including IoT, Robotics, XR, and Quantum Computing.
• Ability to conduct interactive demonstrations and case-based learning.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and student engagement skills.

• Total Course Duration: 30 Hours
