About the Role
The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in testing planning and execution control for power transformers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Job Location: - Anand/Vadodara (Gujarat)
Responsibilities
- Receive production, testing, and customer inspection requirements and convert them into executable testing plans for the unit.
- Allocate testing resources, lab capacity, and work priorities in line with plan, readiness, and customer commitments.
- Ensure routine, special, and applicable plant test activities are carried out within required timelines as per approved procedures.
- Review testing progress against plan and rebalance priorities to avoid bottlenecks affecting delivery schedules.
- Monitor testing load across labs, sections, and shifts and ensure effective utilization of available test capacity.
- Ensure continuity of testing operations through structured coordination with production, quality, and customer inspection requirements.
- Ensure tests are conducted as per approved standards, technical procedures, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.
- Review test failures, deviations, abnormal results, and pending observations and drive timely closure with concerned teams.
- Ensure test reports, records, and ERP-related testing data are maintained accurately and in controlled format.
Qualifications
- 15-20 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering upton 765 / 400 KV Power Transformers
