We are looking for experienced and motivated Technical Web Production Manager. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the web, people and project management.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
• Provide excellent customer service, understand the project from both a technical and a business point of view;
• Ensure the quality of the project by challenging the deliveries and by following an adequate quality assurance policy;
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors;

Required Skills / Education

• University degree, or equivalent by experience;
• At least 5 years of experience as Web Developer followed by 2 years as Web Product Manager;
• Proven experience with Project Management methodologies (Prince2, SCRUM, Agile...), Business and/or Functional Analysis;
• Experience in building large websites and implementing Content Management System or Digital campaigns;
• Knowledge of European Commission’s requirements: IPG rules, Security requirements for accessing EC’s servers, Drupal, HTML5 and Documentum in an asset;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English / French or English / Dutch);
• Excellent customer and suppliers management experience.

After receiving specifications, the candidate must have the ability to

• Assess the technical needs (and technologies) available and necessary;
• Establish technical specifications for developers or contractors;
• Assess and review proposed solutions;
• Follow-up at technical level of production;
• Operate a quality control developments it receives from developers and contractors.
