Technical Lead – GCP Cloud Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (6+ Years Experience) to guide a cross-functional team of software engineers while architecting scalable, resilient solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will balance technical strategy, cloud system design, code quality, and people leadership—acting as the bridge between product roadmap requirements and hands-on engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Establish architecture patterns using GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner/SQL, and IAM.
• Conduct regular code reviews, define engineering best practices, and maintain high standards for performance, security, and test coverage.
• Drive automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Team Management & Mentorship
• Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 software engineers, providing continuous feedback, career guidance, and technical coaching.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, technical estimation, and backlog grooming in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Unblock team members on complex technical hurdles and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Strategy, Security & Operations
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and DevOps teams to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
• Enforce cloud security policies, compliance standards, data protection, and cost-optimization strategies on GCP.
• Drive observability strategies (logging, metrics, tracing using Google Cloud Operations / Stackdriver) to ensure high availability and sub-second SLAs.
