Technical Architects - SAP-PLM

Role Description The Technical Architect – SAP PLM role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing SAP PLM technical architectures that support product lifecycle management processes and integrate effectively with broader SAP landscapes. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable SAP PLM solutions, guiding solution design, and collaborating with functional and development teams to ensure robust implementation. The Technical Architect will review technical specifications, supervise integration with other SAP modules and external systems, and perform system optimization and performance tuning. The role also involves providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, maintaining documentation and standards, and supporting project delivery through design reviews, issue resolution, and alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Architecture skills, with experience designing complex SAP PLM landscapes and ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Solution Architecture capabilities, including translating business requirements into end-to-end SAP PLM solutions and aligning designs with enterprise standards.
• Integration expertise across SAP modules and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability within the SAP ecosystem.
• Enterprise Architecture understanding, including knowledge of SAP platform strategy, system governance, and alignment with broader IT roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development or technical configuration within SAP PLM or related SAP modules, including debugging and performance optimization.
• Relevant experience in SAP PLM implementations, upgrades, or rollouts; prior consulting or client-facing experience is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP or architecture frameworks are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
