System Testing Engineer

Exp: 3 - 5 Yrs & 5 to 7 years

Location: Chennai

Education: BE/B.Tech Electrical & Electronics background.

Skills Required

Key Responsibilities

• Validate Instrument Cluster features including tell-tales, gauges, warning messages, chimes, driver information, and HMI.
• Create, review, and execute functional, regression, smoke, endurance, and performance test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing on HIL/Bench and vehicle setups.
• Analyze CAN logs, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis.
• Report and track defects using tools like JIRA.
• Validate CAN/UDS communication and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Prepare test reports and ensure compliance with project quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Instrument Cluster validation.
• Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, CAN protocol, and UDS diagnostics.
• Good understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN).
• Experience in Python or CAPL scripting languages for test automation.
• Experience with JIRA, DOORS, Confluence, and requirement traceability.
• Understanding of Automotive V-Model, ASPICE, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills
