About the Role

Responsibilities

• Monitor Finished Goods (FG) stock on a daily basis against the order book and identify potential supply gaps.
• Coordinate closely with the PPC team to prioritize production and ensure timely product availability.
• Proactively escalate stock shortfalls and supply risks to prevent dispatch failures.
• Review daily production schedules, WIP status, and expected completion plans with PPC.
• Conduct daily and weekly coordination meetings with the PPC team to align production with customer demand.
• Drive production reprioritization whenever business requirements or supply constraints arise.
• Communicate priority requirements and ensure production plans are adjusted to meet dispatch commitments.
• Ensure adequate contract manpower availability across all shifts to support warehouse operations.
• Manage daily manpower rosters and address absenteeism or staffing gaps promptly.
• Monitor contractor performance against agreed SLAs and drive corrective actions where required.
• Escalate recurring manpower shortages or performance concerns to the functional Head.
• Own and execute the daily outbound distribution plan across warehouses and manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate with transporters to secure vehicle availability and optimize dispatch schedules.
• Resolve dispatch-related exceptions and operational bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted deliveries.
• Track and improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance through regular review and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely POD collection and transportation compliance.
• Manage inter-location transfer schedules through STOs across all three plants.
• Monitor transfer turnaround times (TAT) and shipment accuracy to ensure seamless replenishment.
• Coordinate with plant stores and dispatch teams on transfer documentation, truck movements, and loading accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve transfer discrepancies, delays, and short-loading issues.
• Monitor daily inbound material delivery performance against planned schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and plant teams to expedite critical material deliveries.
• Escalate delayed deliveries, short supplies, and supply disruptions to ensure continuity of operations.
• Support rescheduling and prioritization activities to minimize operational impact.
• Lead and manage a team of three direct reports, ensuring clear accountability and performance delivery.
• Set departmental objectives, KPIs, and performance targets for team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare development and capability-building plans.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to enhance team effectiveness.
• Escalate performance or behavioral issues to the functional Head where required.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the Plant Interface Executive, Distribution Coordinator, and Inbound Coordinator.
• Willing to work from Plant location - Urse (Pune).
• Readiness to work 6 days a week.

• BE - Mech
• MBA - Supply Chain
• Min 12 years of exp in SCM
