Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Manual Testing and a strong understanding of the Trade Finance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Trade Finance applications by executing comprehensive testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate Trade Finance modules, including Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG), Documentary Collection, Import/Export Finance, and SWIFT messaging.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA or ALM.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases by adhering to QA processes and best practices.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 2–12 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Hands-on experience in testing Trade Finance applications.
• Good understanding of Trade Finance concepts such as LC, BG, Documentary Collection, SWIFT, and Import/Export Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and reporting defects.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services projects.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation is an added advantage.
