*Responsibilities:*
- Design and implement data-informed social media strategies that support organizational goals and client needs, with a focus on public sector engagement.
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), ensuring compliance with government communication standards.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to produce on-brand, platform-optimized content that resonates with diverse public audiences.
- Monitor and analyze real-time performance using tools such as Sprout Social, Hoot suite, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite; deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent reporting, proactive updates, and responsive communication, particularly with government stakeholders.
- Manage community engagement by overseeing timely, professional responses to public inquiries, comments, and mentions to uphold institutional reputation.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and regulatory changes affecting public sector digital communications.
- Conduct A/B testing on content formats, posting schedules, and CTAs to improve engagement, reach, and conversion in government-facing campaigns.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including PR, digital advertising, and communications to ensure alignment and consistency across public messaging.
- Oversee social media budgets and track ROI for both paid and organic initiatives, ensuring fiscal responsibility and performance accountability.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Government Relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a senior or account management role, including mandatory experience in government or public sector communications.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency or public sector environment.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, including algorithmic behavior and best practices for public-facing content.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hoot suite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, professional, and impactful messages for diverse audiences.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic improvements, particularly in compliance-sensitive environments.
- Experience with paid social advertising (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads) and budget management within public sector or government contexts.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in client-facing roles, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset.
