Sr. QA

• We are seeking a skilled Data Automation QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating API and database validations using Pytest, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of working in Agile environments and collaborating with onsite teams.
• This is an individual contributor role, responsible for driving quality through automation and ensuring robust validation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Database validations using Pytest, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks.
• Collaborate with onsite and distributed teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Document test cases, test results, and maintain test documentation.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on Python.
• Strong experience in Pytest, SQL
• Experience in sql server vs GCP validations using Jupyter Notebooks
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Swagger and Postman
• Experience on Allure test reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience collaborating with onsite teams.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
• Experience using Jira
