Sr. Full stack PHP Developer (Laravel)

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel) and modern front-end frameworks
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end integration
• Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UIs using Tailwind CSS and Vue.js
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional web interfaces
• Architect and optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for performance and scalability
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external web services
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams across planning, development, and deployment cycles
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar)
• Ensure application security following OWASP and industry best practices
• Contribute to technical documentation, system architecture, and sprint planning
• Collaborate with React or Angular teams when cross-framework integration is required

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in full-stack PHP development
• Strong hands-on expertise in Laravel framework (mandatory)
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, development, and integration (mandatory)
• Strong command of Tailwind CSS for responsive UI development (mandatory)
• Solid experience with Vue.js for front-end development (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of React.js or Angular (preferred/good to have)
• Proficiency in MySQL / PostgreSQL — schema design and query optimization
• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and SOLID principles
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux environments, and cloud deployments
• Knowledge of web security — OWASP, XSS, CSRF, SSL
• Experience with Inertia.js or Livewire is a plus
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
