Sr. Full Stack Developer (Vue.js, Node.js, MongoDB)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features across the full stack — Vue 3, Node.js, MongoDB
• Own code quality through reviews, standards, and refactoring
• Define system architecture for new features and third-party integrations
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment stability
• Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Break down product requirements into engineering tasks and assign work appropriately
• Track and report delivery progress; flag blockers early
• Support hiring: conduct technical interviews and evaluate candidates
• Act as the primary technical contact for product, operations, and leadership
• Translate technical constraints and timelines for non-technical stakeholders
• Document decisions, architecture, and processes clearly
• Conduct 1-on-1s and provide structured feedback to team members
• Guide junior and mid-level developers on best practices and career growth
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices

Full-time position based in Bangalore, India

Immediate to 30 days joining preferred

Role combines active engineering with team management — expected to write code, review PRs, drive sprint execution, and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Sr. Full Stack Developer Profile (Vue.js / Node.js / MongoDB) with E-commerce/marketplace/B2B SaaS exposure
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of software development experience, with at least the recent 1+ years in a Lead or Senior role.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have strong Vue.js 3 — Composition API, Pinia, Vue Router, and component architecture.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have strong Node.js — Express.js or Fastify, REST API design, async/await, and JWT / OAuth2.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 3): Must have strong MongoDB — schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and Mongoose
• Mandatory (Tech skill 4): Must have strong Git workflows (branching strategies, PR discipline, GitFlow) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or equivalent, basic Docker).
• Mandatory (Tech skill 5): Must have AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3); EKS / ECS exposure a plus.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 6): Must remain hands-on — writing code, reviewing PRs, defining architecture for new features and third-party integrations, and maintaining deployment stability
• Mandatory (Skill 1): Must have led a team of 5 or more developers in an Agile environment, running sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros) and owning delivery
• Mandatory (Skill 2): Must be able to mentor junior/mid developers (1-on-1s, feedback), support hiring (technical interviews), and drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools
• Mandatory (Communication): Must have strong stakeholder communication skills to translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders
• Mandatory (Education): Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Mandatory (Domain): E-commerce/Marketplace/B2B SaaS product experience
• Preferred: AI and LLM integration experience with Claude API, OpenAI or similar
