Lead Front-End Engineer - React.js Specialist

Location: Bengaluru or Pune

Experience (must have): 5-10 years

Hours: Evening hours to accommodate collaboration with the US team

As a rapidly expanding B2B SaaS company, we're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior/Lead Front-End Engineer with a wealth of React.js expertise. This pivotal role involves spearheading our migration from Vue.js to React.js, setting the standard for our new codebase, and driving front-end innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Codebase Transformation: Lead the transition of our front-end stack from Vue.js to React.js, ensuring a robust and scalable foundation.
• Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and oversight to our front-end team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Best Practices Implementation: Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices for React.js development.
• Product Sense: Understand end-to-end user flows and create solutions that delight users and turn them into advocates.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance of applications through best practices, coding techniques, and framework utilization.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with back-end and UX teams to create end-to-end solutions that are efficient and user-centric.
• Strategic Planning: Navigate high ambiguity environments, making strategic decisions that align with business goals.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Drive front-end innovation by exploring and implementing modern React.js features and capabilities.

Desired Qualities and Experience

• Deep expertise in React.js with a proven track record of successful front-end projects.
• Experience in building analytics dashboards using charts.js (or other oss) would be an added plus.
• Experience leading development teams and front-end transformations, preferably within a startup environment.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
