Software Intern – Frontend

Full-Time

Location: Thiruvananthapuram

We are seeking a dedicated software development intern with a strong interest in frontend development, who will be responsible for collaborating closely with experienced software engineers on a variety of projects, from responsive web applications and user interfaces to integrating frontend components with backend APIs.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular, and have a robust problem-solving aptitude. Effective communication skills are important, along with a focus on development tools like Git, IDEs, browser dev tools, and issue tracking systems. Through both soft and technical skills, the candidate will gain hands-on learning experience while contributing to real, user-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Work on real frontend development projects impacting the company's products and services
• Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, efficient frontend code
• Be well experienced with coding, testing, and documentation of frontend components
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver superior quality software solutions
• Participate in training sessions, code reviews, and team meetings
• Understand and follow team workflows, coding standards, and methodologies carefully
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving UI/UX issues, contributing to overall stability and performance
• Bring fresh perspectives and ideas to brainstorming sessions and continuous improvement efforts
• Follow coding standards and reliable practices to ensure maintainable, scalable frontend code

Requirements

• Should have completed or be pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with understanding of software development principles
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
• Experience with academic or personal projects involving web/frontend development
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, IDEs, browser developer tools, and issue tracking systems
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, showing initiative and positive impact
• Genuine interest in frontend development and a strong desire to learn is highly valued
