Performance Engineer – Exp 5-10 years

Job Description

Manage End to End Performance Engineering/Testing Delivery for Key Projects

Required skills

• Strong experience in performance testing and engineering for web, mobile, and hybrid applications.
• Advanced proficiency in JMeter (Groovy, JSR223, Web HTTP, Selenium WebDriver).
• Hands-on scripting using TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright.
• Expertise in root cause analysis of performance issues and providing recommendations through proof-of-concepts.
• Ability to evaluate performance across UI, middleware, and backend layers.
• Solid experience with monitoring and profiling tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, and other profiling utilities.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud monitoring (CloudWatch) and Azure/AWS key services for performance monitoring and DevOps.
• Client-side performance testing using Lighthouse and Sitespeed.
• End-to-end ownership of performance testing projects, including requirements gathering, test design, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Programming knowledge in SQL and at least one language such as Java or Python.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and tools.

Desired skills

• Experience creating Sitespeed scripts and conducting Front-end performance analysis.
• Usage of AI and ML for testing, analysis or reporting
• Knowledge of K6 with Grafana and Artillery for load testing.
• Ability to develop in-house tools and enhancements.
• Broader experience in performance engineering and additional profiling tools.
