Software Engineer Internship

Marvell India is hiring for the role of Software Engineer Intern!

Responsibilities of the Intern

• Develop, integrate, and test networking and cryptographic protocols using C, C++, and Python.
• Write and maintain software using C, C++, Python, and scripting languages such as Bash and Perl.
• Conduct case studies and develop software prototypes for future products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance existing Marvell and open-source software products.
• Conduct research and experiments on new AI algorithms, models, and architectures.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations for performance, scalability, and AI frameworks.
• Apply knowledge of Linux operating systems, data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, and computer networking during development.
• Support software testing, validation, and automation activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Networks, Communication Systems, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals and networking tools such as ping, tcpdump, iPerf, and Wireshark.
• Understanding of embedded systems, Linux operating systems, firmware, and operating system concepts.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, C, C++, Python, and scripting languages such as Bash and Perl.
• Knowledge of Rust is preferred.
• Familiarity with test execution and automation support.
• Understanding of ARM or RISC-V architecture is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
