Software Engineer (Trainee) – AI Tooling & Developer Productivity

The Role

We're looking for a fresh CSE graduate to join as an AI Toolsmith — building and integrating AI-powered tools into our software development lifecycle using Vue.js and TypeScript. You'll work on code review automation, test generation, documentation assistants, and AI-agent integrations that make our engineering team faster and smarter. This is a hands-on learning role for someone who wants to build at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI from day one.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (or closely related branch) from a reputed institution, current year or recently graduated (0–1 year experience)
• CGPA of 8.0 or above (on a 10-point scale) throughout the degree
• 90% or above aggregate in CBSE Class 12th Boards
• Consistent academic record from reputed schools and colleges (details reviewed during screening)

What you will do

• Assist in building and maintaining internal tools that embed LLMs/AI agents into the SDLC (PR summarizers, test generators, documentation assistants, ticket triage tools, etc.)
• Learn to integrate AI coding assistants (Claude Code , Copilot, Cursor, etc.) into team workflows
• Build features in JavaScript/Vue.js/TypeScript that surface AI capabilities to engineers (chat panels, inline suggestions, review dashboards)
• Write and maintain scripts/APIs connecting AI models to dev tools (Git, Jira/Linear, Slack, CI systems)
• Support CI/CD pipeline integrations for AI-driven code quality checks
• Prototype small proof-of-concept tools under guidance, and iterate based on feedback
• Document your work clearly and learn to communicate tradeoffs to senior engineers
• Stay curious about the evolving AI tooling ecosystem (new models, agent frameworks, IDE integrations)

Required

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Solid grasp of Vue.js and TypeScript (academic projects, internships, or personal projects count)
• Genuine interest in LLMs/AI — personal projects, hackathons, or coursework involving OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, or AI agents is a strong plus
• Basic understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Eagerness to learn fast, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced startup-like environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Personal projects on GitHub (especially anything AI/LLM-related)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, MCP servers, etc.) or RAG/vector DB concepts
• Internship experience in a product/engineering environment
