What you'll do
In your new role, youll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.
Youll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
Youll Also Be
Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the businessWorking in permanent teams with responsibility for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioningCollaborating to optimise our software engineering capabilityDesigning, producing, testing and implementing our working codeWorking across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations
The skills you'll need
To take on this role, youll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
Youll Also Need
Eight to ten years of overall IT experience in application development, including at least eight years of hands-on database development experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Oracle, encompassing database design, performance tuning, and optimizationAt least three years of experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, or other comparable BI platformsStrong experience in developing and maintaining database-intensive applications, with extensive expertise in data modeling, dimensional modeling, database design, and normalizationSolid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, and LambdaExperience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Git, GitLab, TeamCity, JIRA, and SonarQube, along with a strong understanding of software development best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in the Finance domain, particularly Treasury, will be a strong advantage Join us as a Software Engineer
