Job Description & Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Site Accountant will be responsible for managing and monitoring all site-level financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, processing bills, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role requires close coordination with project teams, vendors, and the accounts department to ensure smooth financial operations at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily cash books, petty cash records, and site expense registers.
  • Verify, process, and maintain records of vendor bills, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Monitor site expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Reconcile cash, bank transactions, and supplier accounts regularly.
  • Maintain records of material purchases, stock consumption, and inventory transactions.
  • Coordinate with the head office for accounting entries, payments, and financial documentation.
  • Assist in payroll processing, attendance verification, and labor payment records.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial and statutory records.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in site accounting, preferably in the construction or real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally ERP, and accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
