Signal Processing Engineer – Biomedical Algorithms | Janitri (Bengaluru)

Janitri is on a mission to improve maternal and newborn care through medical devices and digital solutions. We’re looking for a Signal Processing Engineer (1–3 years experience) to join our R&D team and work on real-world physiological data that directly impacts healthcare outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize biomedical signal-processing algorithms
• Analyze physiological data from devices, clinical studies, and simulations
• Improve algorithm accuracy and reliability through validation and benchmarking
• Build workflows and visualizations in Python/MATLAB
• Collaborate with clinical, embedded, and product teams

What We’re Looking For

• Strong DSP fundamentals (filters, time/frequency analysis)
• Experience with biomedical/physiological signals
• Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of MATLAB
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with noisy, real-world datasets

Bonus Skills: ECG/PPG/EMG exposure, medical device/healthcare tech experience, ML for biosignals, Git/embedded systems, clinical study exposure.
